The Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, which is a permanent committee of the UN Economic and Social Council, announced its recommendation in a public announcement on 17th May 2011 for granting Special consultative status to 9 organizations, among which was the Center for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum”. This was later also confirmed in the Committee’s report on the work on the extended session of the Committee in May 2011, in which 144 organizations were granted a recommendation for Special consultative status. ›› more
