Project Description
Countries around the world are engaged in health reform, which places great demands on healthcare providers and system managers. From the managed care revolution in the United States to the rebuilding of health systems in postcommunits Russia, these reforms impact millions of health care workers, governmental officials, patients and the public alike. The translation of "The New Public Health" by Theodore Tulchinsky and Elena Varavikova (Academic Press, 2000) is the first official textbook of the Graduate Center-School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Skopje.
